Great Summer in Nashville to Learn Survey Methods at Vanderbilt University

By Lana

Back to Nashville for the Summer School in International Survey Methods at Vanderbilt University. Over two weeks, I had an incredible experience learning about survey design, data collection, and analysis in international contexts. The instructors were leaders in their fields, and every session offered practical insights I can apply in my own research.

Vanderbilt’s campus was beautiful, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I met fellow participants from all over the world and had great opportunities to connect outside the classroom. It was inspiring to be part of such a motivated and diverse community.

Outside of sessions, I got to explore Nashville again — its music, food, and lively culture made the experience even more memorable. This summer wasn’t just about learning; it was a journey full of new skills, connections, and adventures.
